Technology Innovation: Exploring the latest advancements in GNSS technology and how they can be applied to improve multi-hazard early warning systems in Africa. This theme will cover topics such as the integration of GNSS with other sensor technologies, advancements in satellite-based data collection, and innovative applications of GNSS for hazard monitoring and forecasting.

Data Integration and Analysis: Addressing the challenges and opportunities associated with integrating GNSS data into existing early warning systems and enhancing data analysis capabilities. Discussions under this theme will focus on data fusion techniques, real-time data processing algorithms, and the use of machine learning and artificial intelligence for hazard prediction and risk assessment.

Capacity Building and Training: Highlighting the importance of capacity building initiatives to equip stakeholders with the knowledge and skills required to effectively utilize GNSS technology for early warning purposes. This theme will include sessions on training methodologies, curriculum development, and best practices for building local capacity in GNSS applications.

Policy and Governance: Examining the policy and governance frameworks needed to support the integration of GNSS technology into national and regional early warning systems. Topics covered under this theme will include regulatory considerations, institutional coordination mechanisms, and policy incentives for promoting the adoption of GNSS-enabled MHEWAS.

Community Engagement and Resilience: Emphasizing the role of community engagement and social resilience in enhancing the effectiveness of early warning systems. Discussions will focus on strategies for fostering community participation, promoting risk awareness and preparedness, and leveraging local knowledge and resources to enhance resilience to natural hazards.
