Purpose

The pre-conference is announcing the coming first edition of the International Africa Satellite Navigation Conference planned in 2025 in Dakar, Senegal.

The International Africa GNSS Conference will provide a platform for Africa to discuss the role of Satellite Navigation and Positioning in filling the gaps between urban and rural areas including on continental priority domains including early warning and disaster risk reduction.

The pre-conference will focus on showcasing the contribution of GNSS in synergy with other space domain (Earth Observation, Communication) in enhancing Multi-Hazard Early Warning Systems (MHEWAS) in Africa.
